As I was still walking among these trees I caught up to a fellow traveler who seemed to be slowing down.

As I reached out to him to befriend him, he said that ‘I should be with God now.’

‘How is that possible? I am not ready yet.’ I said. ‘You must give your life here and now.’ He handed me his knife. He held out this instrument towards me. ‘And you I said?’ ‘I am the messenger I have to convey the truth on this path of light.’ He said.

With these words still resounding in his mouth he moved an arms length away from the black hole, awaiting his next victim.

I did not become his victim, my strength suffused me. I felt a cold chill creep up my spin. I called out to him ‘Can I help you towards the light.’ ‘You are doomed!’ He shouted, as the black hole sucked him up.

Did I just experience religion? I thought.

A Mission For Redemption [continued] 4 The Journey Begins

I awoke with a clear mind, a mind that knew what it wanted before anything else and a mind that had no doubts about this mission. The shadows were still long; the sun had not come into the valley as yet. The early morning temperature was cool/warm. So my attire was simple, a t-shirt, pants and a good pair of shoes my water bottle and sleeping bag and I was ready to find my redemption.

I made my way towards the pool of water where in the waterfall crashed and splashed, rippling the massive pool where in I splashed and soaked my head. I felt refreshed and clear of mind, my water bottle I refilled as well.

The calling and singing of birds was all around me as I found my way on the broad path that leads away from the pool, towards a canopy of trees. This was no forest, dark and mysteries, I could see into the canopy of trees. I had the feeling that I was not the first one to walk this path.

That impression became a certainty as I saw impressions on the ground of shoes and feet, there were even impressions of paws and hooves. This was a thoroughfare I thought.

Sure enough as I entered this amazing canopy of trees I meet a cheerful friendly man. He spoke about his belief of the Law and what ever you do and touch was predetermined by God. If you are rich, this is God’s will, if you are poor, this is God’s will, if you are unhealthy or you child is sickly it is God’s will, He is testing you.

He explained that God tests you so that you can strengthen your spirit and He does not test you beyond your measure.

‘There is some truth in what you say’, I said. ‘Your whole life should revolve around our Lord, but He is not responsible for every little detail of our life, sure He grants us strength through out the day if we ask for it. He is not always responsible for our health and wealth, is not always true. For humankind has ruined this earth and replaces nourishment with his chemicals that are not always kosher. Our wealth is up to us as well, some of us take a chance others are cautious. Our life is in our hands, to choose God is life to choose dEvil is death.’ I thought his law has strangled and confused him. “What is your name?” I asked. “Confuses.” He said.

I said to him, come let’s journey together. But he declined my invitation; he wanted to understand what God had planned for his next step.

So I left him and walked on totally amazed by the trees. They cast a shadow not as total as a forest where it is dark and eerie the calling of the birds did not sound spooky at all. I was just amazed by these trees. They let in light that streamed in front and at the back of me while I walked.

Every span or so there is a dark hole an opening that lets you escape the trees of light. Who would want to escape this canopy of light?

While I was marveling at my surroundings I realized that I am on my way towards God, that these trees of light are the way to the Eternal Light!

My head was exploding with melodies

I just want to let it all out

And worship our God

This is what life is all about,

To worship and honor our God.

I was excited at my discovery that I had found the way and inner joy, now I just had to find the endurance to stay on this beautiful path.

3 a mission for redemption cont. The Dream

That night I had a dream.

I did not feel afraid in the open air. The weather was warm and the trees gave me peace of mind. This night I dreamed a dream, I was walking on rock and my mind was searching for a white stone that only I would recognize. Every time I suspected I saw the stone my mind beamed into it like a light and searched the stone to see if it was alive and that I would recognize it. Once I had found it I knew I would understand it and a new name would be given to me.

I awoke with the sun in the east and a shimmer in the early morning light. The birds call echoed to each other it seemed the valley is alive in beauty and sound. The dream stayed with me for a short time, the memory I will not forget.

I made ready to trek threw the valley to find my redemption, to improve my state of mind.

2 Mission for redemption continued Steps

The path that I found was a stones throw away from the waterfall. At first the path into the valley was comfortable to walk on, but the further I progressed the more difficult it became.

Narrower and narrower it became, moss grew in patches so that I had to watch my step and not slip.

I thought I should turn back because the path had faded and only bushes and a steep decline could I see as if the path had come to an end.

I looked around, far away down into the valley where I dearly wanted to be, the canopy of trees had an appeal. The water fall came rushing over the top and came tumbling down it looked so good and fresh. I could not give up. My journey had barely begun.

I was in two minds. My eagerness to be down below and my cautiousness not to injure myself swirled around in my head.

The thought came that I should carry on, so I did. Step by step or rather hand over hand, it was a slow process. I had to find foot holds for my feet and grips for my hands.

I made my journey at a snails pace and concentrated on my way forward. Sometimes to my relief I would find a ledge on which I could sit and eat my padkos.

My journey down took quiet an effort; the whole day did I maneuver myself down into the valley.

The sun was sinking fast behind the mountains; I was to sleep under the nearest tree.

Could I find this path? That was the question.

From the viewing spot I carried on walking with the path I had come, hoping it would lead me to a path into the ravine that I had spotted. But this path was leading me back the way I had come, to the tar road to the motel. It seems I had to beat my own path towards the ravine and find my own way into The Valley of a Thousand Hills.

That is what I did. From the well trodden path that I was standing on. I stepped into the rough terrain forging my own path. Climbing over rocks and stones, trampling on grass and weeds. Always looking ahead, no way did I want to turn back. The strange thing was when I did turn around to look at the path I had trampled down for myself, I could not see it, the veld had taken it’s natural form again.

The ravine was not to far off, I could see the gap. As I got closer to the edge of the escarpment the scenery opened up again, hill upon hill in The Valley of a Thousand Hills down below.

For a little while did I walk next to the edge of the escarpment and looked down below at the wonderful scenery of hill upon hill covered in a lush green carpet. How I wished I could be transported as in immediately to what my eyes beheld, but my faith was not strong enough.

I could hear the sound of water slapping and splashing the rocks as it fell down into the valley. The spray floated into the immediate atmosphere of the waterfall, refreshing the plants and trees.

I felt the cool air as I came closer and saw a rainbow, the peace of God, stretching into the immediate air of the waterfall. I closed my eyes for the moment and felt the spray against my skin, it refreshed me with hope.

I searched for a path down into the valley but could not find an immediate path that would take me down. It seems I have to make my own path again. The seed in my head was planted, my liberation of my spirit is up to me, I have to make my own way down into this luscious valley that lay before my eyes.

The path that I found by accident lay before me, like stairs into your home.

The waterfall refreshed me, I felt a new life start within me and that life lay before me in the valley below.

1 rescue

I was standing on a viewing spot, on top of a mountain pass. On the horizon and in the foreground I could see a massive mountain and valleys below me that were in a huge valley known as The Valley of a Thousand Hills. That massive mountain was shrouded in clouds, known as Mt. Pisteuo [to have faith]. In the distance I saw a road leading towards the mountain. Instinctively I knew that was the road to follow.

I was hoping my destination would be my liberation to contentment of my spirit.

I travelled light with a sleeping bag strapped across my body, with some padkos, a water bottle and a spare pair of socks and underpants. My car I left in the care of a motel at the end of the road. I would collect it on my way back.

As I was viewing the scenery down below, I could see a few eagles swooping and diving and circling their prey.

The scene had an abundance of trees and a few open spaces. Every now and then a buck of sorts could be noticed darting across the open space and a less nervous one grazing on some tuffs of grass.

I must have sat there for an hour or so observing the sounds and scenes that came up to me from the vallies down below, it was not a scene for the faint hearted. Because I knew I must trek to these vallies below on a path that I had not quiet found.

Blindness Yet Again

As I fell asleep, I lived again.
I came to a place known as ‘Heaven’ and there I saw a river a sparkling fresh river, alive in color and life. A river flowing sparkling as it goes. The name of the river is the ‘River of Life’.
I stood there on the it’s banks, undecided, not knowing where my thoughts are coming from.
I could think of the river’s name by just looking at it and the name made perfect sense to me, River of Life.
The river was perfect, a beautiful dark color, growing fruit trees on it‘s banks. Fruit that does not rot, would stay on the trees until picked.
I looked into the distance and which ever way I looked I could see a bright light, a light so pure and perfect that I was drawn to it. I just had to go there. The more I looked and thought about this light, I knew it was ‘The City of Glory’.
The River of Life flowed from this city, I set my mind to go there. Many others had the same thought, we knew we were the servants of the ‘Most High’. In this unity we went forward expecting nothing less than serving the Most High in song and deeds.
The landscape stretched on as far as the eye could see. Rolling plains of grass, wheat, vines etc. I could not see mountains.
People living off the land seemed indifferent to me, they seemed to be satisfied with their life, no urgency. The believers I traveled with just had one thought, to reach the City of Glory.
The landscape that surrounded me was gentle to look at, not the harsh mountains, deserts and volcanoes that I had come to know and left behind.
With this new language in my head which the Lord our God had given me I could converse with anyone.
I could speak to anyone that I met and they would understand me and I them. Yet they could not understand each other unless they were part of the family.
I was beginning to understand that I was part of a new world, a new heaven and new earth that the Almighty has created. I was on my way to The City of Glory to be come His servant with the group of believers I was with.
We traveled fast along the River of Life for our new bodies were light and we were in control, I would think and I would be there.
We arrived at the cities gate with a brilliance radiating from it and the name of ‘Thomas’ inscribed on it. In the distance I could see another gate with a brilliant light coming from it.
People were standing in front of these gates their only aim was to blasphemy our Great God in Heaven.
There were liars, sources, all the vileness that the human was made up of was standing verifying us.
I reached out to these people wanting them to become part of me but I became part of them.

Gog and Magog lay behind as I journeyed towards The City of Light.

I had come out of Gog with the help of God’s servants who were hated in Gog and Magog because they taught against the dEvil that existed in those dark countries. Not many of us chose the way of peace because violence is the way of life in Gog.

With Gog at my back, I travelled light; I was given an ‘air-bike’. Because here, not like Gog, all goods and produce was given away. Here on ‘The Outside’, as it was known in Gog, the people loved to work they lacked nothing, everything was given to them. There were no terms or conditions; you had to find your own happiness.

The influence of The City of Light on individuals was enormous and yet you had to make up your own mind in accepting Jesus Christ as your personnel King.

All the people I spoke to accepted Christ as their King, but as their personnel King, they said they had to work on it.

The closer I got to The City of Light the more worshipful the people became and caring for one another. This was in complete contrast to Gog where there were liars and those who are corruptible and are influenced by darkness.

The country that I travelled through was the new country for the old was made new. I heard this from God’s servants who told me our Great God caused an earthquake to flatten all the mountains to make a peaceful country with no tiresome obstacles in the way. Trees grew and produced their fruit in season. The river of life flowed from the City; he/she who drank from this water did not thirst again.

Many times did I drink from this river and my thirst for Christ became my life, I want to

worship and please my Lord forever.

I travelled on the main highway; it was broad with many travellers, going to seek wisdom and favour with our Lord.

On either side of the highway were trees and as far as the eye could see more trees. In other parts of the country, the countryside was open until the horizon and further. Houses and towns came and went as I travelled towards the City.

I loved this tranquillity and peace in the air, no watching your back, I could stop anywhere I liked and there was always a smile and a greeting. The highway was busy.

I was still hundreds of miles away and I could feel and see The City of Light. God’s glory was shining forth no sun was needed in the City and the surrounding area. A huge column of light stood in front of me, it was endless. This light was absolutely magnificent; I was told that this light is the glory of God it would be there forever and ever to give hope and strength to the weak and lonely.

I was awe struck by this magnificence of it, it certainly gave me hope and strength. I was told that our God was living in The City of Light and it was his presence that gave off this light.

Most of sojourners felt like me, awe struck at the sight of the city, but then there where those that weren’t impressed at this sight. I wondered about them.

At Gog and Magog, at the furthest part of the earth, seasons of winter to summer were set in place. Day and night comes and goes and the only hope that those citizens have to come to the understanding of God is threw the servants of God who would enter these nations at a personnel cost.

They would advocate for Christ and doing so they would open them selves up for spiritual abuse by the followers of dEvil. The abuse would influence their thought pattern so that they could not stay their for days on end. They had to leave or be crushed by evil. Again they would return to win souls.

There are no parties

I worship Him,

His Glory is awesome

I cannot but worship Him

He surrounds Himself with pure Light

My Lords colors are indescribable

New colors flash from His presence

His majesty is honored by all

Who stand in His presence.

In His presence

I see no shapes

I can only feel His thoughts

They humble me for I cannot think like Him,

‘Come sit beside me.’ I hear Him say

My reactions are slow

I cannot speak

My Lords words are new and perfect to me,

Tears well up in my eyes

I know I cannot heed His words

I am still a human

I have many faults.

Spiritual Sunshine

It is a still and quiet landscape, no wind, no rain. These giant Redwood trees grow in perfection. The early morning sunshine filters through the branches, rays of light can be seen in between the trees. I walk in amongst this light.

Silhouetted against the light I see the form and shape of a brighter light. It is a light amongst light, dazzling the sunshine into obscurity.

There is no place for me to hide, no place for my face. So I turn around and walk the way I had come. But my eyes had glimpsed this purity, and the light has imprinted itself into my thoughts.

I cannot turn my back on the light, on purity.

I face the brightness of the light, I am blinded, a force knocks me off my feet.

Fright has not engulfed me I know there is no violence here only strength and peace.

I am awe struck my voice cannot call out, ‘My Lord my God have mercy on me.’ But my mind is not still I call out for enlightenment for strength of spirit to serve in a becoming manner.

I see and I feel the light pouring into me, I am over come with weariness. My eyes close, I am overcome with sleep.

I slept for many hours.

When I awoke it was dark, nightfall had come. The Redwood Trees towered above me silhouetted onto the night sky.

I lay on the ground for awhile thinking about the dazzling light that I had encountered while walking amongst these giants of nature.

I lay there thinking about the darkness that surrounds me, a darkness that is real that will engulf me if my hand reaches out to stroke its vanity.

The darkness that the night sky forces into my mind telling it, ‘You cannot be seen you can rampage through the night your lusts will be, will go unobserved.’

I call for our Lords sword of light that will cut into the night and let darkness be sliced up. My mind welcomes that light.

I walk through this forest of trees with an open mind, the darkness does not bother me.

My thoughts are on the goodness of life. On the purity of where I am a beggar receiving the water of life, so that my thirst is for ever quenched and my hunger for ever satisfied.
